Raina and Dean spent some quality time in Italia in the Spring of 2011.

We flew from Seattle to Rome, then on to Sicily to begin our trip.

An overnight ferry brought us north for three days on the Amalfi Coast.

We rented another car in Rome, and drove up to Tuscany for a week in a castle.

The trip evoked a number of recurrent themes.
