Summer of 2003 featured a number of short trips to destinations near and far.

The summer began with a trip back to Northfield, Minnesota for Robin's graduation.

Scott Jamieson offered to give my surplus raft a good home in his pond, so this day we motored it over to a boat ramp and loaded it on to Scott's trailer.

In the summer of 2003 Raina made her first trip to Langara Island, a salmon fisherperson's paradise.

This was the summer that we installed a solar electric system at our cabin on Johns Island.

Raina, Lucia and I took a hike to the top of Evergreen Mountain in August.

In late August Raina and I took the Lady of the Lake up Lake Chelan to the remote town of Stehekin.
